I'M IN SPATIAL PURGATORY / I SAW A GHOUL LAST DUSK

29 April 2026

and i’m always asleep, dreamstuck where i              saw you, your stone blue silhouette rendering over again like              passings of daylight. when you meet my gaze—brightstricken the              way my eyes break out of their sockets, pressed by blank              fear—i see the way you sear into me a type of confusion switching me out, i can’t tell what is when or now, but what is then—a fill in for stasis and automata and memories so burned up— why it’s all penance i give telepathically as the sky is scorched by blue, and what is even left of me?
